Visual Beat Interpretation:
The beat of our song changes mainly on the pre-chorus and the refrain so we've decided we're going to use these parts of the songs to show the side narrative (the girl killing her exes) of our music video.
We've decided this as our side story is relevant to the lyrics during the pr-chorus and refrain; the beat also slows down making it easier to show explanatory shots.
Research on visual beat interpretation:
To research this area we looked at Flight of the Concords video for Hurt Feelings (Tears of a Rapper)
This video is a good example as the scenes demonstrate exactly what the lyrics denote.
